New T-Flight HOTAS - back to school

Postby robfm81 » Tue May 26, 2015 8:13 pm

Well....

Just installed my t-flight and did a combat training - I need to re-learn how to fly right handed - (a leftie you see) Can't hit sh*t... hehe

Fixed guns are a long way off for me while I get the hang of it. Setup looks cool though with the keyboard between the stick and throttle.

What leftie stick were you using before? My son had to give up his T Flight HOTAS X because it doesn't suit lefties...

Not hotas and used one which was symmetrical so could use either hand.

does anyone who has this stick know how to get rid of the dead zones - I have set the sliders all the way to the left in settings in game but there is still large dead zones including twisting.

Any hints would be greatly received.

I have already run the thrustmaster calibration tool btw... :-)

I never had an issue with mine. Have you reset it to defaults and then unplugged and replugged it to reset the values?

I know this thread has been dead a while but i'm glad to declare - I have finally got the hang of using the hotas (especially flying right handed as a leftie)
