Anyone check the RES sites, any info on what the difference is between low and high intensity? I've been looking but so far haven't seen any information on this. Hopefully powerplay will give me new goals to strive for, but sometimes I just want to grind and blow up ships for 30 minutes, hoping that high RES will offer more challenge with better rewards than the randomness we deal with now.

what is supposed to happen is the low intensity is supposed to be lower mining yield but higher policed, while the high is the reverse. Risk and reward option. I hope to try it out tonight.

Yeah, finally found some info and so far it looks like from a BH perspective high intensity is what we currently see in 1.2 RES sites. Still a random chance of spawns and all that. We will see once it goes live but was hoping for a way to have some control over the kinds of spawns I'll see.

When will powerplay be out for people not in the beta?

I'm kind of unsure if I have beta or not lol, It havent downloaded anything so I'm assuming not.

From what I read ~1 week, though being my first major patch I'm only going off what others seem to think. As for beta access, this appears to be a paid feature folks opted for a while ago and not something open to everyone.

The previous update betas have been a week, but given the size of 1.3, and the apparent number of issues that have been found, I would expect this one to be slightly longer.

Beta access is only available to backers who pledged monies to access the beta (or earlier) for the main game (pre Dec 2014).

Still not found a Courier......

Bought a Python and stored the diamondback........Fancied some time in one again....4 beams and a PA.......Luv it.....

Not sure I understand this fine/bounty thing though.......

I clipped another friendly security chappy tonight.....Had to leg it as about 10 other ships turned red......

But cannot pay fine off and it's showing as a bounty......With a 6 day + hours countdown.....

Like the 19,200 one I somehow got the other day......Oh and a Dormant one.....

If this is gonna be the norm.....Will fecking dickhead NPC's STOP flying into my beams please......

Tomorrow gonna try this powerplay stuff......If I can get my head around it......

My understanding is that bounties can't be paid off, they exist for 7 days then expire and become dormant. Dormant bounties are added to the re-buy cost of your ship if you have to re-spawn in the system that issued the original bounty.

As for getting the bounty and ships still flying into your line of fire, well the friendly fire issue was supposed to be relaxed, and the AI is meant to be better at not flying into you fire - you should raise both as on the bug forum, it'll help the developers get the balance right.
