That's the issue I had/am still faced with. Problem is, there is NOTHING near my chosen powers headquarters that gives me any incentive to move. Instead I think I will just freelance around the area I am in.

Since I am not in Beta, I can only point to what I have found that is incomplete.

Problem is, it's a Beta, and things may not be the same as far as locations when it drops for the rest of us.

Decided to sell the Asp and its modules for an Anaconda outfitted for trading. Never knew that the bridge would be that big from a VR pov; bigger than my living room and kitchen combined I think, lol.

I don't think I'll get used to docking and undocking any time soon it though. It feels like the bridge is going to get crushed every time I pass by the station entryways. At least I can carry 400T of cargo now.

do you have the mouse indicator/crosshair dot turned on in Options?

the dot never lies - if your ship is level and the dot is centred in the mail slot, you will fit through easily - regardless of what your eyes and guts are telling you (usually something like "argh we're all going to die" or similar)

Yeah I don't think it's gotten me stuck in the mail slot yet, although it kind of leaves a few scratches around the place. Thank the shields!

I find the Type 9 much easier to dock with than the Anaconda.
The bridge being near the top on the 'conda means that you are skimming the top and then it feels like you get pulled upward as you go through! Yes, docking computer is great for coming in but you still have to leave again
