Walking/floating around ships

This is something I am really looking forward too. Getting to know my ship and have rooms etc. For me it will make it something I can become attached too as it will have more of a 'real feel' rather than just being yet another cockpit.

This would be the first game where I would be willing to pay to be able kit the ship out with objects. A bit like with paint jobs on the ships hull at the moment. Being able to buy a sofa or re-paint the rooms etc. This, for me, will be especially cool once I can get a VR helmet

Yeah i'd totally pay for some hula girls and pin-up calendars to stick on the dashboard, maybe a mini fridge and a couch. I can imagine the diffenrent ships having different types of furniture/decoration stuff. Sidewinder with just bobbleheads/calendars, Fer de lance with some fancy leather couches.

but yea, i love the potential in this game and i really hope Frontier uses it. i don't mind even paying for expansion as long as they keep making the game better

It would be a bit like a DVD I got a few years back where you could walk round the starship enterprise on the bridge, holodeck, ten forward and even see where the toilet was. It was awesome.
