Yeah the FDL's engines sound some kind of ship on steroids. Too bad I had to sell mine though; it was just sitting somewhere and I needed the extra funds at that time. Planning to get one again someday.

Started exploring earlier this morning. Had about 30 stopovers (around 200-250LY/refuel) from Chona. Currently fuel scooping and taking a little break; been traveling for around 9.5 hours now, I think.

As for the FDL, not sure yet, I like the speed, I like the looks and the sound of it, the fire power is good, but I do miss the manoeuvrability of the Vulture.

Got my FDL yesterday, but as whenever I try a ship larger than the Vulture I'm left with the feeling of "why?"
I haven't met anyting yet I couldn't have killed about just as quickly with my 20mil vulture, although my shields are tougher.

It's a got a bit of inertia (most things do compared to the vulture) so I tend to smack into things :S
And I am just not getting comfortable with the class 4 gun placement.
I will probably switch it for a python soon :\

ATTENTIONI have just been destroyed by an invisible enemy, well at least it does seem so. Lost a million to it and, which feels even worse, 60 PP points.

After destroying a Cobra, I attacked another one that behaved like a wingman but was not displyed in wing.
I realized that I was under attack by another craft as well, after setting my ship behind the Cobra again. But the radar was clean -- only the enemy in front was displayed, and he as not shooting. So it couldn't be his turrets, plus you can see in the screens that the laser and MC fire is coming from behind. Plus Cobra turrets wouldn't be that powerful.
Soon after, my ship was destroyed. From the impact and the spped of shield/hull decay (dropped like a stone crow), I would think it may be at least a Python or a pack of somethings. D shields, 2x A Shield boosters, Hull Reinforcement Units, in a Vulture ... not a quick death. For the record, both my shields and my hull were at nearly re. exactly 100%.

(Oh, did anybody think THA...? Well, a bug it was for sure ...)
