HOTAS broken

So this is the scene.

I don't want to set it but here it is. I had to be away from my council flat. When I got back I was greeted by a house full of people I don't know, oh, and a child.

After Mr Hard tried it on I thought 'Fuck off out of my home'

It's stupid but there is a thing. Pompey v Saints (Portsmouth v Southampton)

So I got back and a lot of the stuff I saved up for is broken. I tried playing last night but my HOTAS set up wouldn't work. It's FUCKED!

When you say broke, did you check to see if the joystick control panel recognises it? Might have just screwed up the thing.

If it is broke, then I am sorry. But if it was the kid, the parent is responsible and they need to replace it. Plain and simple.

When I got back to my home it was full of people. People I didn't know. So last night I decided to have a go at CQC to find that my HOTAS doesn't work.

There have also been reports that some people that have downloaded the Beta have had it wipe their Bindings back to default keyboard and mouse.

Test the joystick in the control panel to start then check your bindings in game.

The same happened to me yesterday (the HOTAS, not the people) after installation of the beta. After restarting my computer the problem was solved.

Others solved it by 'validating the files' but I don't know what they mean.

If they were using Steam, then there is a file validation option, that helps to reload some files that might appear to have been corrupted. If they were not using Steam, then I'm not sure how they go about validating their files using the game client.

To validate, just open the launcher, log in, and on the Options menu there is a Validate files option.
