definitely not. i have 2 different cmdrs at different ranks both doing the same CG (both using the same LI-CZ in Dakshmandi) and they're both seeing exactly the same types of enemies

Dumb luck I was seeing mostly dangerous and deadly then.

Was at the Community Goal CZ last night again, with Lady Jayne (my non-A rated Python) and kept getting hammered by swarms (at least 2 other ships + the enemy I was fighting) of enemies.

Last night, after a few kills, I would find myself one-on-one with a Conda or Clipper. Taking them out, is an issue, as I would use my chaff and SCBs, but they usually manage to get all my shields down. The problem came in when, as I was battling the big beasts, I'm suddenly swarmed by Eagles, Couriers and Asps. Then I just have to run. They usually manage to get my hull down to 40%, once even blew my canopy up. This happened to me every single time I went into the CZ last night. Never had this much trouble in my Vulture or my Courier.

Lady Jayne's current config: 2 A boosters, 6C shields, 3 C3 gimballed pulse, 2 C2 gimballed canons. Have tried 3C3 gimballed bursts + 2 C2 gmiballed cannons but the capacitor runs out pretty fast. Thinking of 1 C3 gimballed burst, 2 C2 gmiballed bursts and 2 C3 gimballed multi-canons but can't seem to find the C3 gimballed multi-canons.

Regards.
Have fun, fly safe.

cmdr clivus bought a T-9. he can't insure it or fill it, but it's there waiting. next step - earn 7 mil in the Vulture so the T-9 can go out and play.

i wish i had your luck, i mostly get an even spread between Master and Elite, with Elite being rather rare. wishing for the 'old days' when you could jag an instance with 100% Elite enemies

That was the problem that I was facing when taking my Python into the CZ. Those swarms are deadly.

I switched to my Vulture several days ago and while kills take longer, I can stay in the CZ for 60-90 minutes before coming out to reload the SCB's.

I have had the same experience. Bloody Mess just got beaten if I did not fly very, very careful through the CZ or at it's edges. Vulture does much better there, though a broken canopy is not unknown if you misjudge the situation. And it is best to go for a blunt Fastest-Kill loadout approach (like C3 G Pulse / C3 G Burst).
As for the Courier, though it is a beauty to fly and very tough for it's size, it just takes too long to blow up anything of size. Great for low-level RES or targeted interdicting, but not good in high-intensity CZs or against bigger fish (well, it is quite a small fish itself).

Recently Dakshmandi (or however it's written). A bit at Maausk, too, but Dak has station for ammo/repairs right next to a CZ (25 Mm or so trip).

^ This.

The Vulture does better (currently) at RES's and CZ's than any other ship I have flown. Kills 3 times faster than an A-Rated Python even. (Because you aren't jousting.)

I tried the courier in a CZ last night, and while I was able to take out an Anaconda without losing my shields or anything, it just took too long and I HAD to target the power plant in order to kill it, which we all know is going to be a thing of the past when 1.4 goes live.

Once again stuck with the Vulture...

That's where I've been playing. Just made back my insurance money last night, so if commanders are back in the cz, I may join up again.

Relocating my little fleet to Azrael, now that we definitely have a base there. Very nice feeling!

Then, ratting up the DBX again.

EDIT Finished the RattingUp.
