Just imagine what that would do for porn industry alone.
Not just gaming....

The possibilities of uses are endless but I think the one you mentioned will win outright

Maybe HTC Vive has the edge? For those that don't already know, Obsidian Ant (Granite on the official forums) has posted a large number of ED videos with the OC DK2 so he at least can make an evaluation from experience with this game. Got my mouth watering.

Indeed looking interesting.

I am also leaning towards the vive myself but thats mostly due to how much I don't like facebook :P

On the illusion immersion part where he states he "forgets" he was looking at a vr game, I actually suspect that has less to do with the Vive, and more about the combination of the VR and the physical setup, if you have a stick and throttle laid out precisely as simulated your brain wont get the constant wake up call that comes from having your arms and legs doing something else than what you are seeing.

Inow we need to replicate the in game flightseat down to the cm to get full benefit.
But that goes for all vr setups regardless-.

To bad ED uses a toy joystick, I would much rather see them using a proper stick and throttle setup like the CH fighterstick and pro-throttle, that's an entirely objective opinion of course :?

Rule 1: Pillage. Then burn.
Rule 2: No such thing as overkill, as long as there are reloads.
