Any way to know how far you are off "triggering" the navy missions/ranking?


Currently at cadet/neutral with federation and I've been doing missions for eravate network (federation) courier, combat and donations, got myself to allied with them, also when I've been popping to other stations/systems as part of the mission I've been grabbing whatever is aligned to federation, every play session has an upwards arrow for federation but - no missions pop up
I've even been extra careful in which pirates I kill and always hand in to a federation station - getting a little paranoid Sommats bugged on me :-/

sadly no.. just doing combat, donation, trade missions for faction aligned minor powers.

There is a figure that the system uses however it isn't visible to us. I vaugely remember someone on the FD forums submitting a bug report that they weren't getting missions. Told it wasnt a bug and how far he was from hitting the next marker.

I do think the military system needs looking at. Maybe on a GalNet type screen you could see your standing in each military system. Or better you have to pick a military to be in, much like the PP which makes you have to pick a side. Always thought it was odd you could be highly ranked in both.

Being highly ranked in both will take some grinding! But yes, it is strange how you can take missions for different sides and progress through the ranks - you would think once your choice is made you're hostile to the other, and treading in empire space would be, well, the hunted...

I would like to know I'm "x" missions off a rep gain seeing as elite is very much personal goal driven, atm it feels very "unknown" and random rep progression
