What additions do you run with ED?

Has anyone used both ED tracker and the track hat?

Only trackhat, but I have to admit that ed tracker is very interesting as it needs no camera and line of sight from any leds

I am tempted by the track hat setup. I sewed my EDtracker to a baseball cap as I am not a fan of wearing headphones when gaming (the wife does non stop chatting) but because my setup works well, I am not sure it is worth nuying, even though it is nice and cheap. I wanted a TrackIR 5 but just couldn't justify the price.

In Switzerland, TrackIR 5 is about 300 Swiss Francs. That is about 285 Euros. And there is no way in hell I can afford that. I was lucky enough to get the ED Tracker Pro. I used Factrack NoIR, I have tried Opentrack as well with the Home made LED clip. It worked like crap. Probably because I suck at doing any soldering/taping/glueing.

The ED Tracker Pro is a great deal for me. No do it yourself, and not bank breaking.

(I stopped wrapping gifts, even Christmas gifts for kids a long time ago, and I put stuff in a pretty bag. The wife appreciates this much more than my crappy attempts to wrap things. I can barely put tape on paper. I am a do it yourself nightmare case.)

In all seriousness, I am thinking of adding a G13 Gameboard to my setup, but I want to see if I can find a way to use the display on it for Elite. I know that someone wrote an app for the G19 and its display, but if I can find one or mod this one to work with the G13, I might pick one up for myself for christmas.

For hardware I use a Saitek X55 Rhino and a TrackIr. Software I use VoiceAttack (for its macro capabilities but I never use voice commands) and ScreenShotChanger. And I have a laptop on the side where I run Inara, Coriolis, and stuff like that.

Hardware wise I replaced the X52 with the X52 Pro (X52 had signs of fatigue) Got the G700 Logitech mouse which is not really used and the G510 keyboard but it was not convenient (too big to have the throttle and the joystick on the sides of it so I got the G13 gameboard to put on the left side of the throttle.

I am still old school and run winamp. Very low on resources and very snappy and I know it very well and at my old age, it is good to stick with what we know

I have a G19 keyboard and do find it is rather too wide and after a couple of hours continuous, I get uncomfortable so looking to downsize but will miss the LCD display.
