Horizons Release Date - Tues 15th December

Well I think they are going to have to work around the clock till then....

Because there are some real big bugs in horizons.....Especially graphic glitches.....

The choice of date is not unexpected, well it is a little as the 16th was probably more expected, but hitting the one year anniversary would be a clear psychological target for them.

That said, I fully expect we'll see 2.01, 2.02, etc in rapid succession, we were up to 1.03 by the 19th of December last year after all.

And problems with not seeing a players ship but seeing his buggy, or seeing his buggy but not being able to communicate, or not having the wings navlock work going into orbital cruise, or ...

Yeah, they've got a lot of effing work to do!

I've filed 3 crash reports, 2 detailed bug reports, and replied to a dozen bug reports on the official forums. I think they've fixed a few things, but the continuing graphic glitches are ridiculous.

Yep I think I'm up to 3 crash reports now after the mega crash last night.......Which incidentally corrupted my video data once again....

Had to completely reboot....Game just would not start again.....

I think that's a first for ED, but then Horizons is no pig in need of lipstick (but neither have been any of the other seasons - well, maybe PP).

Was that a bug at the 53 second mark? It looked like CMDR Marley had CMDR Halligan targeted so he appeared purple in "our" HUD, but "our" CMDR was engaging CMDR Halligan, so shouldn't he have been red?

I'm a Marquise, so with a bit of a push I could probably get to Duke, but to be honest I have an Anaconda that I rarely use, so I'm in no great hurry to get another large ship that I'll probably rarely use.

I'm having much more fun in my smaller ships, I spent a thoroughly enjoyable weekend just arsing about in my Asp.
