Things a CMDR should have done at least once..

Good Day CMDRs!

I wondered if you have some kind of a "todo" in mind. Things you plan to do or at least consider to do in ED, apart from the obvious things to achieve like:

- Elite in Combat / Trading / Exploring
- Admiral in Federal Navy / King in Imperial Navy
- Aquire millions of credits to buy something

So I wonder whats your todo list? There is not much on mine, except for:
- Journey to SagA (which goes along with explorer Rank)

Some commanders don't learn from the first time tho - namely me!! I do a howler and await it's repeat

But, I do want to and plan on a sag a trip - I would also like to say I've gone across the whole galaxy as far out to the fringe as possible - can't ever see that tho, I could see boredom sending me to my death from isolation!

True, after reading this, I actually can add some "done things" to my ED todo list (and some left to do)

Continuing on Mobius' post...

Go on an exploration journey without a fuel scoop.
Buy a commodity because it looks cheap, then sell it at a loss.
Get tangled up on the wires outside a station.
Get impatient and shoot a pirate without waiting for its wanted status to be confirmed.
Run into your salvage after waiting 30 minutes to finally find one.
Become wanted by being rammed by an authority vessel.

I started off with a few.

• Visit Sol
• Put my name on a star (first discovery)
• Make loads of money. (Over 1 billion credits in assets should qualify)
• Get founders permit.
• Travel to the other end of the known galaxy

Only things I haven't accomplished so far is crossing the core, (long trek's get boring fast heck I haven't even made it to the core) and beocming Elite in combat.
Only got 69% left in my combat rank, and don't really have a problem with just being "Deadly"

Will try to reach elite in trading first. seems to be easier then in combat - especially since the imperial cutter arrived.

* Accidentially pressing the wrong button and jettison 500T of palladium.

I really never considered the bad things for a at least have done once list, but .. some mistakes have to be done to avoid them afterwards

Well, I'm closer to elite in trading by a about 20%, but after hitting a billion in assets I can pretty much afford to fly whatever I choose, and only need a bit of credits for insurance and ship sell cost for when sell a ship in place of another.

I fortunately did most of my Oopsies in my viper days, all the usual bits, boost into station and die, run out of fuel and die (before limpets so no fuel rats back then) must have lost 6-7 vipers just figuring out what stars was scoopable or not

Things like eject cargo etc was quickly unbound, seriously nobody needs that.

Fly into a sun while watching telly at the same time as hyperspace jumping.
Using an AFMU to repair thrusters while in supercruise.

On a more serious note
Sag A, and other tourist destinations in an odd exploration ship like a Clipper.
Find the solution to the UA / Barnacle / Thargoid mystery.
