Have fun, fly safe. o7

She's purty.

When 1.5 was initially announced, I wanted a Corvette so hard.... and I still plan to get one at some point. I love the way they look, especially on the inside. Not so sure I like the floorplan of the bridge with the other chairs facing the sides, but the aesthetic of it takes the best of the Federal Gunship cockpit, and takes it up a few notches. (Yes, I actually like that thing's cockpit.)

Honestly, I went Cutter before Corvette just because CZ/RES is not my forte, trading is. And the Cutter is a better ship for trading.

After I hit Elite in trading, I'll probably get a Corvette, because I won't care if I get killed left and right in combat with that much money. :-D

Many missions for the Order today, now back to some trading, still trying to decide whether to keep the trade conda or trade her in for a trade cutter

I like the Anaconda, but the cutter is a better trade ship, unless jump range is super-important to you. (With a decent build, I get about 19+ unladen jump, and 13+ laden.)

I'm keeping my Anaconda, but I'll probably re-do it's loadout for either exploring or combat when I get back to it. I love the idea of exploring in one of these huge ships (It would feel so right in the Cutter, if it had better range), but I know the Asp Explorer can do even better, and has a magnificent view from the cockpit, so I'm torn. That'll be a while anyway, though.

Got my 1st reply from FD here are the words of wisdom, they didn't even read my post

"horizons is now DLC so you need Elite Dangerous to play, hope this helps" NO its doesn't help you insipid moron!

Then I get a follow up email that states:

We checked your FD account and there is only a key for the Horizons DLC, you need the base game to play"

So I linked in screen shots of my keys at my acct at FD showing that it says "keys have already been redeemed"
A screen shot of the two keys in my Steam acct for Elite.
And a screen shot of 600 hours of play time in the game that I don't own.

Tomorrow I am calling them, I got phone number off their stock listing at the London stock exchange

011 gets me out of the USA telephone system, then 44 is the code for the UK, then 12 is the area code, then the number is 2342 0005

hence 011 44 12 2342 0005 I tried the number today and all it did was ring, no answering system which was pretty odd.

I also sent in a ticket at Steam, its time to escalate this. I asked for a refund for Horizons and they said no because I had too many hours logged in the game. Now if It has never loaded even for a minute how can I have too many hours and if its physically part of Elite Dangerous then whey are there two launchers and two .exe files?

So they did not even bother to check your account first before answering that 1st facepalm reply.. jeez.. Maybe they need the explanation of the situation in a form of folded iron wire or something.
Quite a mess that whole thing, I really hope they compensate it to you somehow.
I play on PC, in the Mobius PVE Eurasia group.

Maybe they need to do an Educating Ed episode where he goes to the customer service department and gets this call. At least he'd try, and the publicity might spur them into action. :-)

I hope you get this sorted soon. Have you looked at the reddit thread someone posted earlier?

I was thinking more like an elephant hip-deep in tar, but I still love this ship!

Finally got interdicted by the overconfident sidewinder, and made short work of him. Turrets for the win.
