Can't remember some hideous Federation outpost somewhere. I'm heading for Imperial space just as soon as I've figured out how to use the galaxy map properly. Damn feds......

Started with my sidewinder and 100 credits. Now have 26,000 credits. very happy with my progress thus far.

EDIT: just been over on the main forums and I remember that I started somewhere near Thiin. Anyone know the quickest route to the Empire?

I have the Federal start and initially appeared amongst of HIP-nnnnn systems with barely a unique name anywhere (or a decent station). Due to a nasty glitch I had to restart my save and this time appeared in a system near Winby and Shilli (name sounds like Amezgan or something similar) and there's some great inter-system trade available in some of the systems around here.

One has an Orbis outside an Earth-like planet which supplies grain for the countless "Grain Needed" missions asked for in nearby Outpost stations around Metal-rich planets.

Started on Cosi, last saturday. Have had to allocate myself and get known to the new Location. Find a Sweet Spot for upgrading the sidey at Nox some 13 ly away. Bug wallet isn't Big enough actually.

Started in Apt City in Anezgan with a cobra, 1000cr and 1000cr woth of cargo (Federal trader from KS)

My freagle is still in Raksha some 120 LY away. Have sofar been able to try mining and upgraded my ship slightly, and have about 415000cr to my name.
And I am a Dealer.

Damn Frontier and their random Federal start positions. How about a random Imperial start position? I repeat, Damn Feds.

Started in Aibiko. Freagle was there also.
Now I am just doing missions to get some starting cash. I left the freeagle in the hangar because it has to little cargo space for my needs and insurance costs when I get blown up.
Now I am in my hauler in aurora? There is a anarchy mining outpost with rediculuosly cheap prices but I don't know where to take it.
