Greeting everyone, CMDR Plushielord here.

I have after many tries over the last 9-10mths finally worked out the controls and am ready to fly! I'm a PC gamer from Australia who dedicates alot of time to gaming and im ready to get into Elite Dangerous. I'm not into combat atm (failed the adv combat training 6 times before skipping it) and i'm looking at being a space trucker with maybe a dip into mining.

I look forward to being able to join a private group of like minded non pvpers in exploring the galaxy.

Im sure someone will be on shortly with the rest of the welcome info blurp.
As for the higher training sessions in combat i wouldn't put to much stock in them.

They dump you into a situation that never occurs in game and always with a loadout I would never have chosen.

As you're probably finding, the learning curve in E-D is pretty darn steep. Be sure to check out the 'tips for new players' thread linked below, and ask lots of questions!

and check out our TeamSpeak servers or Discord (voice and text chat) servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.
