Wasn't aware of that and to make matters worse, I just went to Euclid to complete a rank progression mission but did not check on the Nav panel whilst there - otherwise I would have see them, bummer - looks like another trip out there again.

Just 18 ly away, Ross 467 is very similar to Algorab. Luckily, the station is only 90 ls from jump placement so it is much quicker to get to than the ~3000 ls trip Algorab had. Like Algorab, it has a mediocre shipyard and outfitting, but it isn't terrible. New home base for me. I guess I'm at a point in the game where outfitting isn't important to me since I have the ships and loadouts I want. When 1.3 hits, I'll probably visit a station with better outfitting. Nearly every system listed in the OP has a high tech system nearby fortunately.

I also added the first Anarchy system to the list; LP 98-132. The system's description tells how it is. Interesting system to visit nonetheless.

Station: Slipher Hub (High Tech/Refinery)- ~ 1 ls from multiple RES
Low Reserves

This has been my home for the last couple of days. Got me enough to kit out my Viper and then move on to a shiny new Vulture. The closest
RES's are in both light and dark (because of the orbit, it changes, sooo cool :D )

Empire, Empire Consulate, an Empire travel corp, and a pirate faction in the area. Good times, but I'm itching to move, so I'll probably go out in search of a new home. So I leave to you, Faust. A not too shabby starter home.

@Nabirus - Thanks for the info, added Faust 68 to Empire! I haven't explored that area of Empire space yet and I'm sure there are some good sites in the area.

Good luck finding a new home! I'll be staying in Ross 467 until I find a more 'complete' RES farm. My goal is to find a good system near Codorain for easy bounty turn ins.

When I was in my Vulture, I farmed in Iota Persei because of the station's robust shipyard/outfitting. Zeta Horologii would be a good farm as well since it is close to you. Fusang is another great system that is a little farther away. These are just the systems I know. There's probably many systems that are better that I missed in your area. Fly safe!

If anyone is playing 1.3 beta, RES farming is now potentially frustrating. Getting that ~150-300cr bounty for friendly fire/firing before scanned will result in a 7 day period of not being able to pay off your bounty in that system. Friendly Fire isn't as relaxed as I thought it would be.

To get around this, buy a sidewinder and find a system authority to scan you and then kill you. Then your bounty will turn into a fine.

I'm 99% sure FD will fix this with the next patch, but if they don't, make sure to move your ships to a different system before farming.
If this remains an issue for awhile, RES farming will become as worthless as player bounty hunting is in 1.3

... Time to become a miner! :geek:

Since when is Friendly Fire a Bounty? Its currently a Fine. That should be a bug if it is coming up as a bounty. I get that all the time currently and its always been a fine.

I still think FD has too many meetings in honor of Bill Marley.

I don't know why it is so hard for them to implement what is needed. What is needed is serious repercussions for human killing humans that are not wanted. Seriously. Why is that so fucking hard?

Not in 1.3 beta.....

I've got 2 bounties now in 2 systems...Coz I clipped a friendly in each when in battle.....

Apparently fines only now exist for the small things.....

Causing damage to a non wanted ship is a bounty on ya head for 7 days.....

Now that 1.3 is finally out, I decided to do a check up for some systems. LTT 4961, the system with an extremely bright background has been changed.

With the removal of annoying fog, LTT 4961 is a pretty good looking system. The downside to this system is that the conflict zones have vanished.

I find that the normal 'Resource Extraction Sites' to be virtually the same as pre 1.3 RES (a good thing! $$$). High Intensity RES seems to be harder to find larger wanted ships.... ? Maybe I just have bad luck.

All the systems in OP will need to be checked again to see if the RES' are now low intensity, high intensity, or normal.
Feel free to post any advice or info regarding the OP list and new RES farms. Thanks!
