Its a little deceptive. It doesn't feel as snappy to move as an eagle, but its a much larger ship. Most ships have a preferred movement, maybe that it pitches or yaws or rolls better on one axis than on the other axises. The clipper seems to not have a bad axis. It seems very balanced. I am really just getting used to it so only time will tell, but as it stands, It FEELS very maneuverable considering its size.
I will take it into a fight later today and get a better feel.
It doesn't have the power issues that the Vulture has. I originally slapped 4 beams on it and with an A rated power plant I was still able to run 4 A rated Shield boosters and was just Barely over 100. (C shields, A FSD, D Everything else). I have since dropped on Booster for a KWS. I am running Gimbaled due to the placement of the weapons, but I want to see what the cannons do. I wanted PA's but they are only fixed and the lower placements are a little wide for my taste. Maybe after I get used to it.
I can see why so many people use it. Here is my Current Build. I will probably change it as I learn how to use it effectively.
