Used my big trading ship for the trades between the stations near me, then stripped the Asp for some more trading to and from the platforms in the other system. I originally only planned on playing for an hour or so, when I quit it was 4 hours later... even time dilation is a feature in this game.

I am trying to do bounty hunting missions but can never get any targets to count. I go to the system it says to "Look for Bounty Hunters", target ships and look for the ones labels "Wanted" and kill them. These do not count on my mission, where and what do I look for to know if a ship is a "Bounty Hunter"?

Well bounty hunters won't be wanted. That mission is essentially for you to murder people. You need to look for ships that scan you and then say "you are clear to go Commander" or similar, they are bounty hunters. Be warned shooting and killing them will give you a criminal record unless you do it in an Anarchy system.

Currently in Beta Hydri waiting for a rank progression mission to show up, doing the odd small cargo run and pirate hunting mission from the BB. Took a couple of the assassination of Gen."X" missions (very well paid 150K+ each) were both quite strange. Both targets in Dropships, waited for them to attack, returned fire and took down their shields and a few percent of their hull then they vanish and show up a moment later and just sit there hardly moving and not firing ....... let loose with the MCs ..... bang! Big pay day.

Something definitely strange there......

I've had 2 dropship assassination missions....First one got his shields down a few times and caused a quite a bit of hull damage....He tried to ram me and then.....Jumped......I had to go looking for him again and when I found him he was at full strength......Finished him off this time........

Second one.....Got his hull right down and again they rammed me.....This time made contact and I was space dust......

Day 19 - Cleve Hub in Eravate System

After updating yesterday to 1.1 and today to 1.102, went an hour bounty hunting with the Eagle at Nav Beacon. Practiced aiming fixed Multicannons on small fast moving targets ( Sidewinders ) and testing new release. Everything works fine for me, the graphics look crisper and the general sound level is a tad louder (was a little weak before in my G430 headset)
Had the pleasure to meet Cmdr Navarre Braddock in a Sidewinder for a short chat.
