After refitting my baby it looked like an eggshell with an engine. Seriously, light weight allow and no shields? Heats sinks and cargo racks. All D rated modules with an A5 FSD and a B5 fuel scoop ( didn't have the cash for an A)
Ok now lets see, jump range is a bit over 30 unladen and off we go from HIP 16607. 14 jumps, looks decent. On my original Asp build it was 30 jumps from Cubeo.
Well I made it there and plenty of fuel and only ran across 3 dead stars. Now I looked over the missions and took enough to total 13 million in rewards. Now just have to make it back......NOT
I was interdicted on the 1st jump, escaped and then on the 2nd, I was interdicted again and silent running is about as useful as a one legged man in an ass kicking contest and the paper mache hull fell apart in like 3 seconds. End of my career as a smuggler
I did manage to make "Pathfinder" on the trip down though
