Hello,
Currently about 1k ly from the bubble on my way to the North America Nebula as a stop over before heading to the Formidine Rift. Was trying to land on a planet for the night but misjudged speed and height, slammed my explorer Conda on the ground. Luckily Lady Celest has some shields, so managed to get away with 73% hull left. Will carry on the trip and try to be more careful.
Have to get used to flying a Conda especially one that's equipped for long range exploration and therefore has the lightest modules possible.

I've just sold my Type-9 and fully kitted out a Fer-de-Lance, so I've been doing a little bit of bounty hunting. Accounting for the 10% trade in cost on the T-9 (after fully downgrading all modules of course) I need to make another 6M or so credits to break even. Not sure if I like combat all that much :/ I've been considering getting an Asp and having a go at smuggling, apparently there's good money in that and I might be able to get a Cutter in a few days.

In other news I got my shipping confirmation for my Vive today, with a bit of luck it'll be here early next week. If I can raise 100M for a stock Cutter by then and have that beauty of a ship as my introduction to VR I'll be pretty happy.

...back in the old days, smuggling was THE way to make a lot of money fast. Right now it is meh. I mean I just did some two 17 Draconis runs yesterday and I got something less than 8 million. I don't know if the same goes for Robigo, haven't been there for some time, but I distinctively remember easy 30 million runs before the nerf and around half of that after that.

I don't know what the other guys do for money, I don't look up much for it. I have heard some guys swearing to ALD rank 5 and Haz Rez hunting, but I wouldn't even consider the effort of reaching the rank myself.

I have made seven Robigo runs (with 2 fails, don't ask ) and the money is good, I made about 12 to 15 mil per run using my FAST setup Cobra III,
so with more space you could run more missions.
but other players have told me that more than 4 missions and you get interdicted almost non stop in some systems.

Yesterday robigo run - around 10 missions, earning around 47 mCr in 1,5 hour. So still good for me.
Really depends on trade rank. My is done to Elite status only thanks to Robigo runs.

Took 18 missions from there, made 70 million. Still works, but can't recommend to anyone as the game cheats A LOT.

I have not been doing anything ingame for some time. I have been really busy with work. I hope to get some playtime when 2.1 update comes to us "non beta" players.

But on the other hand, its summer soon and i might want to step outside for sometimes too..

Griefer Warning at the FuelRats CG (Gliese 1269) in Open: Yesterday, the whole evening a CMDR with a Spanish name in a shieldless Eagle rammed speeding ships, making them go BOOM by the station and putting a bounty on them; my Rattaconda was one of them.
To get rid of the bounty, I made it dormant, but it was a pain to wipe it completely; finally managed by letting me scanned and destroyed in a Sidey by sec vessels
I will continue in Mobius ... shame for the 10 mil.
