Well that was odd, running a few missions and got the usual "enemies have been sent after you" message, well the inevitable interdiction comes and it's an Eagle, not sure what rank as it was dead seconds later, next system another interdiction, another Eagle, which again only lasted seconds.

All my previous interdictions in 2.1 have been large Elite ships, I wonder if something has been changed?

I've happily scooped the first material and guess what.....

"Under attack".....A wing of 2......FDL and an FAS.....Just about made it out of that one.....

They are rare, and IIRC, they only appear in populated systems, possibly only low security ones.

I had happily run 10-12 black box missions with no NPC's dropping into the threat zero zone in Bragur ..... until yesterday. I was gathering my 4 boxes using collector limpets, when I see a Conda out my left window. I got a glance of some other ships too. Checked my contacts, and it was a wing of freakin' 7!! I was trying to gather the last 2 black boxes as they started to scan me. Just a few more seconds...... 'mission objective complete', and then a rain of fire came down on my Python like I have never seen before. All 7 ships opened fire at the same time, or so it seemed. Of course I was mass locked. High waked out with shields gone, and hull at 37% (with Military grade composite). Holy crap!

I was kicking myself afterwards for two things....

I should have GTFO when I saw the wing, and waiting for another black box instance.

Why the hell didn't I capture video, idiot! I had shadowplay running. Doh!

Yo Dudley. Ended up watching Battleship and Percy Jackson by the time I finished drinking.
Then today was my lucky day. Found polonium and mechanical components. So got the shield and FSD upgrade.
Now going to try to unlock Liz Ryder.
