Hi people,

I've played from beta (bought the Merc pack back in October). Up until the wings update I was pretty happy playing in open. After wings enabled the "ganging up on one guy", bully-gamestyle, I´ve been pretty much playing in solo. It was enough to lose one Fer De Lance to a bunch of losers (Anyone who shouts "Life is cheap" to the local chat, from behind his 3 wingmates backs, to a commander who's 85 million credit ship is about to turn into smoke, is in my books a total ****ole and a loser.) the aftermaths of the Lugh community goal to drive me back to solo. I miss the friendly commander to commander interaction so I thought I'd give Mobius a try.

I've always considered myself as "player friendly" commander in the game but I had no problems going head to head with anyone who interdicted me out there, as I got myself some pretty fast feet to run with in case the going got too hot. But the way people play today...4 people in a totally overkill manner go after you just for kicks - not my style anymore.

I'm now parked in an independent system next to the Shinrarta Dezhra, where a high intensity conflict zone is conveniently a few Mm away from a Coriolis station.

I'd say "fly safe", but maybe "crash safe" is more appropriate?

Well...crashing is no problem. True to the avatar, I'm pretty crashproof - I always come back to continue the chase.

After the Lugh incident with the wing ganking me, I couldn´t afford the huge plasma acc for the FDL and the bucket seemed a bit lacking without it, so I went back to the true and tried clipper. I flew so long with it that it feels like coming home when I load up the game now. The npcs are a lot tougher nowadays tho - can´t go 4 x med multicannons with the clipper anymore. One has to actually buy large beams for those large hardpoints now to make any kind of profit in the conflict zone/bounty hunting businesses.

Greetings and welcome commander. I too am homebasing out of Shinrarta and hoping over to LFT926 (or 62, can't remember right now) for the independent CZ action. Perhaps I'll see you out there!
