Hello,

I'm a relative newbie at Elite Dangerous. I've been playing since January but have somehow managed to put in over 200 hours since then. Yes, I drunkly misspelt my commander name on creation - no going back now.

I decided to join Mobius because I want more interesting player interactions. I've mostly been playing in Open and don't mind the PVP, the pirates who talk and role play are fine by me. However, I'm far more co-op minded in my gameplay style and want the chance to play with similar players especially when it comes to casual encounters - after all, we're all members of the Pilots Federation. I do like me a bit of role play.

I'm 47 and have adopted a more laid back sofa/TV gamings style. For control I use a Steam Controller, EDTracker Pro + opentrack and VoiceAttack + HCSVoicepacks. I'm become pretty adept at configuring and tweaking them and am happy to help out others with setups.

I think you'll find that several other Mobius members also enjoy a co-op game play style, including myself.

It sounds like you have an effective (and comfortable) game control setup there!

Please feel free to add your name to the In game friends list thread, and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.
