Hi everyone.
I am Sol (ingame S.O.L. as the simple one was already used).
I played one of the Elite Games a few decades ago (on a C64, when I remember it right) and many of the other Space Games: Wing Commander 1-4, Privateer 1&2, X 1-3 and Eve Online (for about 6 months). I joined the Alpha of Elite Dangerous but never had much time to get deeper into the game. Now I want to give it another try.
I truly enjoy the complexity of simulation games combined with a relaxed community. I am a bit of a RP-nerd, so I am very much interested in the lore of ED. Any recommendations?
I stumbled across the Mobius Group in a tutorial video by Obsidian Ant and sent a request right away.

and check out our TeamSpeak servers or Discord (voice and text chat) servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.
