I considered buying one myself, but I haven't found anyone using it with Elite and not having to tweak with it. After all, it's really for open source hackers, not so much end-consumers.
Don't get me wrong, it is amazing for developers. If you have a lot of patience, it might be right for you. I think the input limitation of 60Hz is its biggest drawback for now, even though the lenses are capable of 120Hz refresh. If I had more free time, I'd probably get one. But that's the same with a lot of open source I used to play with. But I prefer having something that is fully integration tested and supported, not changing and moving from one day to the next.► Show Spoiler
