CMDR Zaya Hex

[Zaya]

Hello, I am still quite new to this game and while the learning curve is steep indeed, I am loving it (not so much the fact that every time I learn something new, at least three other things pop up which I don't understand and have to learn as well). I have been exploring around the Bubble and visited many wonderful nebulae, systems and planets, but it does get a bit lonely out there when there is no living soul for hundreds of light years around you. I come from playing WoW for a long time while I don't miss the cluttered global chats, I was used to be in a guild and chat with people when I was in the mood.

I am glad I come across Mobius, as I am horrible in PvP in pretty much any game and usually just get annoyed when other people kill me when I am minding my own business, or better yet, still learning the game. That is why I have been playing in Solo for the first few days and now I have joined the Mobius PG.
I have a lot of noob questions, first of which would be where is the best place to ask noob questions? Somewhere here on the forums, the official Elite forum, Discord or Facebook?

Greetings and welcome to Mobius, Commander Zaya Hex

The learning curve in E-D is pretty darn steep as you're learning first hand, so be sure to ask a lot of questions. We're here to help!

Feel free to post questions in this forum, our FB group, or our discord server. The FB group and Discord are busier places than the forum these days, so you'll typically get a response more quickly there.

Feel free to add your name to our 'In game friends lists'

If you haven't requested to join yet then please see the instructions on our join page.

Check out our Team Speak and Discord servers, which are great ways to chat, meet, and organize with other players.

Also, make sure to check the Policy page if you haven't already.

On top of all of that, we also have a Facebook group and Twitter feed.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.

Greetings and welcome to Mobius Commander Zaya Hex
Hope to meet you in the Black void one day.

Concerning asking questions, I always regarded the discord channels as convenient, but definitely also check out the forums and other channels.
