I have a quite straightforward setup... if you don't count the 4 screens :P

Image

I'm in the process of saving to buy a Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS but that'll be a while from now before I'm able to buy that.
however, i do have "grand" plans for when I am able to afford it.

I'm planning on building a play seat using a car seat (preferably leather) with the HOTAS positioned in much the same way as in the game and a bar across my lap for keyboard and mouse and since it has to stand in my living room, it'll get a nice finish to hide all the welding bits :P

The computer that sits in the corner here is my custom-made self-build Intel Core i7 with 32GB of DDR4 memory, an AMD Radeon R9 290, an 128GB SSD for my OS (Windows 8.1), 3x 500GB HDD's (RAID 5) for documents and 2x 1TB HDD's (RAID 0) for my Games (Steam, Origin, E:D, etc.)

All new for Elite Dangerous.

Well, the Kensington power center and Cambridge SoundWorks 2.1 speaker system are about 20 years old (you can tell because they are computer beige rather than black), and the Plantronics headset is about 10 years old, the Saitek ST290PRO joystick is more than 5 years old, and the Logitech illuminated keyboard is about 4 years old (damn my eyes). :)

The new stuff:
Carbide 330 Case
Gigabyte Black Edition Z97 Mother Board
Intel i7-4790k CPU
Evga GeForce GTX970SC GPU
16GB G.Skill Sniper Memory
Acer 32" WQHD 2650x1440 Monitor
Crucial MX100 256GB SSD
CH Pro Throttle USB
TrackIR5 Pro
Win7-64 (I will not use Win8)

The monitor looks superb in real life, and the speakers still sound awesome (nice rumble), but I usually use the headset.

-Cheers

Here is was before I cleaned it up!

This is mine...

Nothing really special, especially since I don't really have room for the HOTAS, but here goes...
