Saw my first commander last night since I left Lave over a month ago.

Just made entrepreneur and found my rep friendly with the Empire. I sold the Python and kitted a Viper for combat and exploration and headed back to the Alliance. I'd swear I made explorer on the way, but when I sold my data I was still just a surveyor.

I'm going to concentrate on exploration and boosting my combat rank, maybe try some conflict zones, then I'll buy a T9 and resume trading.

Day 17 - Cleve Hub in Eravate System
Same as usual... the bounty hunting part was better than yesterday with a stolen Python from the Cops. Missed one 65K Anaconda by a few seconds, this time the Cops blew him faster !
Now 720 K Cr. in the bank and my 2 ships can sell at 300 K. I'm getting close from the Cobra so I can go see the world...

Only one Cmdr brief sight on radar while in SC inside Eravate system.

Trade profits were poor on my regular route, so I hopped into my Asp and went round looking for alternatives. Found one that offers a bit less per ton, but both systems appear deserted.

Not playing the game, because everything except trading cost you more credits than you can make, so currently this is most profitable for me.

I've been trading in my T6 for about 2 weeks now, with a little bit of bounty hunting in my Cobra for a change of pace. One thing that I've recently found that is kind of fun to do with trading is just go from port to port and sell the best thing from there to the next. Since the fix for the commodities has been tweaked a bit on the "crazy" side right now, I'm finding it fun just to find the best commodity to sell from where I'm currently at to the next closest buyer. And let the next take me wherever it may, sometimes into friendly territory, sometimes into anarchy space, sometimes selling something as simple as tea and other times big tech, minerals, or slaves. Its kind of fun to just see how far I go for awhile, and even if its not always top credits, its one of those things where I'm just having fun trading along the way.

If you want to give it a shot, see how far from your current hang out you end up at after a couple of hours. I use Thrudd's Online tool http://www.elitetradingtool.co.uk/ and while some of the info may be outdated, I take the time to update it and just type in my currently location and see what trades for the best credits from there say within 25 lys, 500 ls or closer, and at least 600 creds or more profit. Then I keep going to the next one, in whatever direction makes me the most money. And as of yet, I have not had it take be back and forth, its always been a new place that was better - so that is cool!

Currently in Beta Hydri waiting for a rank progression mission to show up, doing the odd small cargo run and pirate hunting mission from the BB. Took a couple of the assassination of Gen."X" missions (very well paid 150K+ each) were both quite strange. Both targets in Dropships, waited for them to attack, returned fire and took down their shields and a few percent of their hull then they vanish and show up a moment later and just sit there hardly moving and not firing ....... let loose with the MCs ..... bang! Big pay day.

Ran rares today for a bit. Needed funds after working on kitting out my cobra and my T6.
