Greetings All,

CMDR Navine is my character name but real name's Eric. I just got ED after Christmas and have been enjoying it. Being a big fan of FSX and space this puts the best of both into one game and I could not be happier with what Frontier has done so far. At first I was just going at it on my own but decided that I would like to join a group and you all caught my eye seeing as you're like me and rather play the environment of the game just like I prefer to do as well.

This is my first time playing any of the Elite series and personally I think I joined at the right time. Looking forward to meeting and talking with you all.

Hi all. Warhead here,
I'm new to The Elite series and to Dangerous itself. i have been playing around in solo and in open a little. my short time in open had players try to interdict me 12 times in the space of a hour (putting it into perspective ai tried 3 times) which i thought strange as im in a sidewinder.
The point being i feel the world is a bit empty of life with just the AI and Open has people that are just too aggressive towards open ganking, ¬_¬ reminds me of eve online. I wish to go exploring and hopefully see a small percentage of the star systems in the game.
I also want someone who actually plays this game to talk to as some people from my other communities have no interest in it.

If you want to know a little about me IRL well im from UK and 25. im just looking for a group so that i can see and possibly hail some fellow CMDR in passing and say hi , and possibly have an interaction that doesnt require the line "drop out of fsl or die!"
Ive looked on the forums and found you guys fit the bill with the focus being on PVE in a stared instance.

Anyways hopefully see you in game and dont forget to drop by a friendly "Hi" if you see me

Hi all, I am new to this group, however I have had ED since just after Xmas. I live in the UK and am 45 yrs old and am an avid FSX and Falcon BMS pilot and member of Mutley's Hanger flight sim community. I had all the original Elite games and have been looking forward to this for so long! I would like to be a part of a community out there in space as it gets quite lonely wandering the galaxy, however I wanted to go the PvE route instead of PvP simply because I enjoy the more peaceful aspects of exploration of the galaxy and trading/mining etc. Make no mistake though, I will defend myself if attacked! If you see me in game, send me a hail (CMDR AngeLwitcH). I look forward to seeing you out there!!

Hi all,

Player since BETA, decided that as much as I like the PvP aspect of ED, I think I'm better suited to PvE - especially considering my chosen career paths (Trading and Exploration). I had a T6, sold it and took a Cobra (22ly jump range with a 16t cargo, beams, M-cannons, DSS - I'm ready to explore)

Will be sending my request this evening after work; hoping to start soon after.
