I had one of those "stuck" missions that persisted after 1.1, however after returning to the system I originally received the invite in it has now gone and a new rank progression mission has appeared.

Hmmm, I also had the stuck one before 1.1 for Summerland and now the Facece one has popped up, it's probably a dud as well but I think I might head up there anyway, feel like a change of scenery. Thanks for the answer :)

I had my fun in and around Sol. It was about as short-lived as I expected it to be. Haha. I've already moved on (or up, as the case may be) into Alliance space to make new friends (and much more credits, I hope!). Will I hang around and become an Alliance sympathizer/loyalist? Don't know yet. Heh. That's the beauty of it all. Options.

Made it back into inhabited space after carving my mark onto several previously unexplored systems, now swapped ships and I'm sticking my nose in these community goal thingies.

Day 20 Cleve Hub - Eravate System
Business as usual, a bit of trading, a bit of hunting...
Met Cmdr Dudley Dawg and Cmdr Tomorosso.
Just over 1M Cr. in the bank, 2 or 3 more days and I have my Cobra ! :)

Promoted Baron (Empire), doing some bounty hunting, conflict zones, rare runs and issuing a lot of retributive cannon fire to those who dare interdict me lol.

Decided to leave Eravate region (before I knew Corsair and others were hanging-out there) for the nearest Empire system I could find - Liaedin.
That's quite a trip on a free Sidewinder and I already had a few mishaps like running into some pirates in anarchy systems or worse, running out of fuel and bashing my head on my cockpit controls.

I really don't like this auto-save game feature which greatly limits one's ability to experiment (I'm not rich and every credit is important). Any advice on how I could reconfigure my sidewinder to add a fuel scoop?
I don't want to remove the discovery scanners or the shields really. So what's left to remove? The cargo?

I already removed my weapons to increase my jump range but I don't have any need for putting anything in the hardpoints right now.

Remove the discovery scanner, the money u make form discovery is very poor and the fuel scoop is essential to do the rare route I just posted on the main forum.

What is your laden jump range btw??

Don't think of it as a game. Think of it as really being in space and living the life. In real life, decisions and experimenting have consequences - and rewards. I'm not saying to start over if you get killed, but just accept that everything won't always go perfectly.

To get more jump range, use D rated (light weight) components. I'm not sure about the fuel scoop issue as I haven't been in a Sidey for months.
It's time to give this another go.
