I use voice attack, so I have a few play lists setup in there.
For those that are not aware it is really easy in it's simplest form.
Just create a new command in VA "play music" for example, and then use other (in VA) then play a sound, and put your first track in, rinse and repeat for the rest of your playlist.
I have a command also "be quiet" or "shutup" to turn it off.
Use different commands for different playlist's. "Moody blues" for example for some blues music.
You do need a directory with wav, or mp3 files stored.

There's only one kind of music that can be associated with space travel and that's Pink Floyd, because they are the ones that actually did it - live, no less!

Having said that, the tune that goes through my head every time is Shine On You Crazy Diamond - and that was released 6 years after the event!

Nice, appropriate video here, though:

I don't always listen to music in space but when I do, I space out 8-)

Scooping fuel is very much like making love to a beautiful woman. First check the target is hot enough,
then approach slowly. Once close enough, pull out your scoop and fill her up. After you're done just
gently pull away, turn around and leave.

I actually play a Pandora shuffle which mixes up all my differ genres of music. But when I'm in a mood I love playing stuff from Faunts, M4 Pt. II is the best... very spacey. You may have heard it on the credits screen for Mass Effect.

They also have a cool Journey through space video, both Part I and II.

Deep Space One is particularly good in game, as it literally turns your engine sound into music. :)

I play those on Xion, a free player that has global hot keys, so I can control it (including the volume) from the X-55.

Not been to SOMA FM for years, forgot about it tbh, thanks for the deep space one great channel.

Most times listening to net radio Digitally Imported, vocal trance for chilled trade runs and oldschool acid in combat :D
