Got back to Pand with 200T of rares, and a heap of exploration data. Still at 97.1%... that seems a bit odd. I know activity has been reduced, but there are still a few of us plugging away regularly, so I am curious as to what the hold up is...

We actually went down. I got to see 97.4%, and then we dropped back to 97.1% yesterday night. All other factions where at 0.something, but Friends of Pand raised again to 1.1%...

Or someone else has been working for them, or our combined activity in the system has been greatly reduced.

I have also seen lower traffic reports lately. Actually, only 12 at this moment, and one of them is of course me (the Vulture )... I see you have been around too, as there is a Phyton in the report also!

Yeah, that's me and my rares drop. Where did you find your Vulture? I'll be filling my hold with rares, and then heading back. I then need to buy a Sidey and go grab my Asp, so I can have it ready for some exploration when my throttle is sent away to get repaired...

Wouldn't mind a Vulture for a bit of pew pew fun, though...

Yeah, I wonder the same. I've been quite active in Pand yesterday, and even saw a small rise while I was there, but now we are back down again. We might really have someone working against us!

I did have the feeling yesterday though that influence is changing more often. They might have changed something there in the last update...

I got the Vulture at Csoma Ring, in HIP 80242. Do get a scoop though, as it's fuel tank is tiny. And a decent FSD!

I'm very curious about the current influences. I also noticed last night that all 4 faction were gaining ground (how is that possible?). I should have taken a snap of it and asked the devs "wtf?".

Speaking of devs - Ollo - when you were asking the devs questions - was it on the FD forum? And who, specifically, were you asking?


Thanks for the tip re the Vulture - I'll try and grab one today. I figured out the scoop thing very quickly in Beta - it really is very short range!

Well im not on the fd forums anymore, had some internet issues so yes i apologise for not being around for about 36 hours.
Good work keeping the group going on the main forums just catching up now, seems the influence has peaked a little bit. Im about to login and see if my net will stay stable, been watching the dev blogs interesting responses, the mikunn group continues to drive all of the changes in the simulation or bug fixing, we just tag along as a secondary group with up to at least 20 maybe more regular or semi regular members.

Im about to do 2 hours in open if all holds stable ill get on tomorrow after some sleep and mash around see u guys around. Another expansion im still not sure how to trigger it but keep chipping away. If we can get a boom that might help, not sure about some o the new bugs in things being reported watch the wider fd forums for info

I killed my pirate lord, took 200T of gold to Montet (profits have gone down - about 1025cr/T now...), and bought a sidey to go pick up my Asp. FIlled the Asp with Onionhed, and am now heading back to Pand. It's so much faster with 30Ly jump range! Dear lord, I missed that...

I've got it set as an explorer right now (6A fuel scoop - seriously amazing fill rate), though, and not much cargo space (for an Asp, anyway).

For long trips, I use the Hauler as taxi instead of the Sidewinder. If you strip it of everything that's unnecessary (leaving shields in) and equip it with all D's and an A FSD, it gives you a jump range of 31Ly empty with a much bigger tank, and you often don't even need the scoop.

It brings you to your destination in a very short period of time! Don't forget to sell the modules before selling it, as the A FSD is worth 160k...
