Hello everyone,

Just a short introduction here as it is getting late (2am) and yet again, Elite kept me up past bedtime >.>

By nature I am very much a jack of all trades. Generally with elite I will do trading every time I play for a few weeks, then switch to bounty hunting, then exploring then back to trading... Though I do have a TERRIBLE habit of trading in my ships instead of outright buying each time... A rough estimate is I have lost around 3,000,000 Credits due to the loss of 10% each time I trade in, so it is a habit I am now trying to get out of.

My long term goal at the moment, is to trade my way up, until I own a type-7 Freighter, a fully kitted out Vulture, but my ultimate goal is to get an Asp Explorer, fully kitted out, then attempt to make my way to the outer edges of the galaxy, if I have time, I would like to document what I find, and then when I get out there..... Well I will likely travel back to try and sell my knowledge, however the aim of my goal isn't for profit, but to be able to say that I did it... After that I will likely fight and trade for a long time, then follow in many others footsteps, and try to head for the centre of the galaxy.

My main affiliation thus far is with the Federation and I am quite happy that way at the moment, though I've only really stuck around my starting area around LHS 3447 and Eravate, I've gone to sol to look around and flew inside the "flag ship" and I went out to the Coal Sack dark region to do a little exploring, but after coming home and making a measley 140k for a week or twos exploring with all scanners, it kinda put me off exploring for profit until I own an asp and can get out farther faster.

In real life I am 26 years old, I can't work due to being sick although I hope the NHS will eventually sort me out (they are loath to operate on me because my condition is life threatening) so I can get back to work, in the mean time however I enjoy being father to a 2 year old, and play a LOT of different games in the wee hours once she is in bed (I have back and supported a LOT of early access games in the hopes of helping indie developers make a name for themselves).

The only game I am really looking forward to this year so far is "No mans sky" and I am REALLY looked forward to it, and REALLY annoyed that Sony have bought their way into having a limited exclusive release on the playstation for the game, even though the was developed for and intended for the PC audience, however as their engine was already compatible with the playstation (and I guess they needed the money...?) they choose the route with more financial stability.

As you can see I am quite talkative and im happy to talk about many things, so if ever anyone wants a chat or sees me flying around, just say hi :)

Greetings and welcome commander! And fight the good fight out of game with whatever your illness is and spend all the time you can with your little one! I've recently battled Leukemia and I'm winning and I hope you do the same for whatever is ailing you. Hope to also see you escaping reality in ED!
