Yeah, I saw you here & there and then in Kuk. I thought you may have been heading my way. Anyway, you should see friends as green icons on the galactic map (and stored ships as read icons). For me, it takes 5-10 minutes after logging on before friends show up. I didn't see your "hollow" symbol on the radar or I would have said hi. ;)
It's time to give this another go.

What this game needs is a local "Looking for Wing" option so that players can find others in their area to form wings.

I have pretty much been just killing time around Alioth, mostly bounty hunting RES in Alcor.

I hope Beast is alright. I haven't seen or heard from him in a week.

I found an interesting post on the official forums about 78 Ursae Majoris.

https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=128212

A little history on the system (I don't know it is "made up" or if it come from books or the devs) and on the recent troubles. It looks like GalNet had it completely wrong. Reporters never check their facts these days; all that matters is being the first to report.
It's time to give this another go.

The Vulture is way overpriced/powered in it's current bracket (at least against NPC's) and takes a lot of the fun out of hunting NPC's to the point I barely played the game this weekend. Last night I put it away in storage at Irkutsk in Alioth and bought another Asp.

I'm having a hard time bounty hunting in and around Alioth because I am allied with almost everyone, even in the anarchy systems, Sobek, Tiethay etc. In the end one of the high value hauler missions for 200k profit took to to Alcor where I found I was only allied to one faction and had a lot of fun in my Asp. Got run out of the RES a couple of times 4-1 was proving quite tough in D shield Asp with A0 shield booster but I was having fun and got out alive :). Changed my loadout to 2 MC's on one side and 2 beams on the other plus heat seeking missiles on the lowest mounts.

I actually had to use six of the missiles to survive the four against one situation and staggered out with no shields but minimal hull damage to collect my haulage fee. No repairs at Fast Landing, so off to get that fixed next.

I have same problem now lol, much annoying when even bounty hunting and everyone shows up green dooh, but can be usefull later in the campaing brother..

You won't be able to find overcharged since fancy rare weapons have been removed since beta. Only left with those that had them to prevent save issues.

If Irkutsk diesnt have ginbal bursts. Most of the good stiuff can be found at g 122-60

Found my C3 Gimbal Bursts in LHS 2637. A great high tech system near alioth. And have a lot of RES crawling with bigger ships. ;)

Now that all the horrors of Lugh's war is over. I made my way to home (actually that is my home base) and i realized that i needed bigger guns. Hope that core dynamics did not doa recall on their vultures and unpower it. I like it.

After the war, with my payment, i could buy back my old ASP friend and better than that, kit it totally.

That's my report!
Cya!

I am going to be around the Alioth area so if anyone is doing any trading or missions and would like a wingman, give me a shout. Really need to get to the bottom of how wings work. Only been in one wing with Antmax and RWJ and we were just winging it. << See what I did there?

Yeah, I saw that. I usually shoot people who make puns. Lucky you are across the pond. :D

I'll be online in about 3 hours if you want to try wings again. I've already forgotten most of what I thought I knew about wings. I don't have anything specific in mind of what to do other than teaming up for bounty hunting. And I'll need to update my key bindings first, and then test out the joystick, before trying wings again.

This is what I did regarding voice comms. I went into my audio setting and set the commanders voice level to maximum, set the music and sound effect volumes down a notch or two, and turned off about half of the voice warnings like friendship drive charging. I'd suggest making similar changes if you had any difficulty hearing voices over all the noise of the game.

Now back to work.
It's time to give this another go.
