What shocked me is that 9 players admitted to flying the Federal Dropship as their primary ship!!!

Personally I'm surprised at the sheer number of male players compared to female. I mean, I know males are generally (or at least, stereotypically) more into gaming than we are, but that's really a very very tiny little slice of the pie chart made up by us female types :O.

But I don't read the official forums, not since I joined this one (and I didn't even check them very often before that, whereas I'm here every day now) - I only found out about the survey 'cause you just linked it in this thread .

My guess is the majority of players, be it male or female, have never even been to the official forums.

Well, they do seem rather full of people going "zomg, everyone runs away when I try to kill them - you should make it easier for us to gank people so I can have fun, waaah" rather than actually having proper, interesting conversations . Long live PvE .
