I'm away out around the Horsehead area exploring still. Thought about turning back a couple of times to give powerplay a whirl but I'm still quite liking it out in the black. I always think I've travelled really far until I see some people saying they are 25,000ly from anywhere, I'm only about 1000ly from anywhere. Pathetic!

Yep. Go into audio settings. You can set certain responses off.

still trying to reach last night's target of 80% to elite (it's now mid afternoon of the next day) - last night's server outage and today's real life intrusions mean i'm only on 79%. oh the shame.

I did a veeeeeeery stupid thing.

After trying to find smuggling missions, finally I stumbled across a station that gave me over 700k Cr worth of smuggling missions. So naturally, I grabbed all of them, jumped into my Cobra and started flying towards the first system.

A veeeeery stupid thing no1: I ask for docking permissions, but forget about silent running - so I get scanned and fined for 60k Cr. My first thought was: "Meh, I'm getting 700+k from the run, I can pay off the fine."

But then it happened... The station revoked my docking permissions exactly when i passed the entrance gate. I get the timer saying I'm hostile and trespassing and get another fine. So what do you do? You just turn around and boost out right?

Well... for some unknown reason instead of boosting out I hit the "Jettison all cargo" button right in the middle of the station. TONS of new fines started flying at me and my info screen went nuts from all the info it started displaying and the total sum ran up to 250ish k Cr in fines. At that point the station starts shooting at me and I just got the hell out of there with 60% hull.

So... if someone sees my slaves flying around the station in Callenero, would you please just give them some bread and water untill I can come back for them? xD

Saw someone post about a CG in the Wyrd system so I made the 128ly trip there, no CG. Having already flown that far I decided to go another 1ooly or out and get some more scans, stopping at the last station I could find. Spent 20 minutes at that station searching the galaxy map for another system further out with a station and couldn't find one so I finally bought a fuel scoop. Why didn't I get this thing sooner?! So much free fuel just sitting out there waiting to be used, all the credits wasted refueling at stations. Flew out for a ways with my new favorite toy then made the 36oly trip back to Lembava to sell more scans. At 107 scans i'm still only in the top 70%. The 15+ million for top 5% is tempting but i'm not sure I want to go that crazy.
