I got the 7A power plant for my Python today, discounted in the Fiden system at Panshin Ring (looked first at Shirley City in that system, but that station didn't have it)

Yesterday, the discount was still valid.

One question: If I buy, say, a cannon with 15% discount. Dock at another station that offers NO discounts. Sell the cannon, switch to my stored ship docked there.
Can I buy back the sold cannon at the discounted price? Effectively just swapping it from one of my ships to another?
Anyone tried this? Thanks!

Resale is at the sales price outside of their territory. I tried it and had my dreams dashed. I was going to fly in system in a SW, load up an Asp, take it back out and get the 15%, no joy.

Li Yong Rui exploited a System where you could buy a Cutter.
Currently you could get an Imperial Cutter at Harm (Gentil Hub) 15%off and also most of the Modules you like.

So a Cutter fitted like

Yeah that used to be a thing and got kind of taken advantage of, people to would take conda's, buy a buy an a8 power plant at founders with 10% off, make one jump and sell it with 15 miles profit..
