However, the money I've earned from selling 7 pages of data was just teribad! I've spent 10-12h of exploring and I got 2mil Cr! I reeeeeally hope FD fixes exploration because at this point, i really never see myself going out again like this apart from specific runs to specific places where I know what I'll be getting (like seeing a black hole or a sun "eat" a close by planet...).
Money-wise, it's a complete waste of time.
But hey, i'll be shooting pirates and hugging my Python for the weekend \o/

i'm sure they'll think of something to make exploring more interesting. money-aside, it's insanely repetitive. jump - scan - scan - jump - > repeat infinitely. but someone mentioned progressive missions... that actually sounds awesome.

Well we do have the Thargoids, as a fact, hiding somewhere. Would be perfect and awe-inspiring to let explorers find small bits and pieces of puzzle parts scattered out in the outer rims, may it be artefacts with (taken only for themselves meaningless) sound parts, puzzle-type shapes, or just remnants of Thargoid bombardment, ruins, REALLY interesting burned-out space debris, or civilization memories pointing to ... their hiding place maybe ... maybe some Second Foundation thing ...
Technically, that shouldn't even be much work, in terms of gameplay it could blow our minds right away. Remember the discussion about the "Unknown Arte/ifact"? That points clearly into the right direction; and it has shown how much competence and potential the ED player base has in terms of real life skills. And dedication.
Rrrrock storytelling in-game!

Currently 630ly into a journey to the top of the disc, found lots of undiscovered stuff, but nothing of any great interest yet, will keep you posted (either that or I'll get board again and head back).
