Hello all, Microdia here. Just within the past week started playing ED, and I have already ordered a HOTAS haha. I have been trying my luck dabbling into everything the game has to offer PvE wise, because I feel it is the richest aspect of this game.

I have so far dabbled in mining, trading, and minor bounty hunting in RES sites. I am still very new to most things but I'm a fast learner and catching on fast.

I have been an avid gamer since the dawn of pc gaming. I started playing on a text based MUD called Gemstone 3 on Prodigy classic dial (1200 baud rate modem) when it costed 4.99 an hour to be online hah. I have since graduated to just about every game in between from run of the mill MMO's, to city builders, to...well...anything. I'm always down for a chat, discussing trade routes and mining sites, or just winging up to make some pesky pirate npc's space dust.

What HOTAS did you order?

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks for new players to help everyone get the most fun possible out of the game.

What city building games have you played? I did a little SimCity back in the day, but loved Dawn of Discovery and Anno 2770. I used to be hooked on RTS games, but then I bought E-D last winter and haven't played anything else since.
