Fun fact: with 11,500 members our group (now officially) constitutes 1,39% of the player base.
If you reasonably asume that about the same percentage of total buyers and total group members are active, these 1,39% are also applicable to the active player base. So more than 1 out of every 100 players is in our group.
I am convinced that not even 10% of all the buyers (or active players) have ever heard of us!
This I take from the member count of the official Forums, the subreddit, and the Elite: Dangerous Social media account followers.
Only the Forums come to 10% of the buyers, and we all know that only a small part of all the forumites there know about us.
So if you take this into account 1 out of 10 players who know about us is in our group!
That would mean, if our group would be known to all owners of the game, at least 10 times as many as right now, our member count could also be 10 times higher, rocketing us to over 13,9% of the player base, or in numbers: 114,675 members!
How about that?
