I have stayed clear of most multiplayer games for the very reason of some peoples idea of "fun". I am very thankful to Frontier for implementing the grouping feature in E:D.

You are probably like me then, and try to stay away from reading the official Frontier forums, as they are full of people who put almost as much effort into justifying their sociopathic trolling "fun" as they do in carrying it out. (And that is a LOT of effort.)
