Hello all. I've played around a bit with MMO's (WOW, etc), but didn't really like the PvP scene too much. I may end up dabbling in it in ED, but having too much fun with the rest of it for now.

In real life, I live in GMT-7, but work an odd, rotating shift, and can be online at just about anytime. I'm currently working 60+ hours a week, and will for the next few weeks. Haven't messed with Teamspeak yet, still refining my controller scheme with ED. I've got a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, a brand-new CH Pro throttle, an Ideazon Fang gamepad, and a home-made head-tracker setup. I think I'll ask Santa for a new video card this year, my FPS drops down into the teens sometimes.

With the recent change to the Frontier Elite: Dangerous forums, I'm not able to actually type anything into a reply box... I'm thinking that's just some bug with the new forum format. Anyone else having the same issue?

The thing about the Frontier Forum. Did you log back in? Took me a while to realise that after the make over I'd been logged out. Just a thought.

Try changing the theme on the official forums. They are still working on it as one had font colour matching the background colour in the reply box, I think, so you just don't see what you type.

Regarding the ED forums, I personally didn't have a problem have you tried a different browser (I use chrome)

I also read users had a problem because they used "HTTPS://" rather than "http://" (NO "S"). you can try that maybe.

Thanks for the warm welcome...After trying the "http" vice "https", it worked like a charm, thank you!

Spent the morning setting up my control scheme with my new CH throttle, it makes it so much easier and more immersive. Now I need to get used to quick turns using the analog translate thruster joystick. I certainly hope my control scheme doesn't wipe when B3 hits, it was a pain tweaking everything in just how I like it.

Make a copy of your custom bindings....

Mine reside at....

Local disc (C:)-->Users--> %Your Name%-->App Data-->Local--> Frontier Developments-->Elite Dangerous-->Options-->Bindings-->Custom Binds
