I assume it slides out of the side brackets?

Would love to do something like this, but the hall has needed decorating for 7 years and I like my testicles where they are.

Looking good so far, are you going to paint it up to look all spaceship-like?

Originally the top and sides would slide out of the sides. However that is hard to do without twisting and risking breaking the side bits. So the top lifts off and the sides arms will soon have clips of the sides if the chair to store them in when not in use.

Still trying to think of a way to store the top. Nothing is attached to it so it is just a chunk of wood with the brackets underneath.
