New Mouse....

Postby Cmdr Kharma » Sat Nov 21, 2015 12:26 pm

Looking at one of these for Christmas....

http://www.cougargaming.com/products/mice/700m/

The mouse I have at the moment has the debounce problem sometimes and it's getting to be a pain......

I like the layout of this one....Not as many functions as the one I have now....Roccat Kone[+].....But I don't use them all anyway....I do like that thumb aiming button on the 700......

Anybody have any gaming mouse favourites that I can look at before making my mind up ?

Hi,

That's certainly a futuristic looking mouse, no 100% if I like it, possibly would have to see one in the flesh before clicking on the Buy button.

I'm currently using the G502: -

Logitech G502 Gaming Mouse

Might be worth considering.

Like a lot of things, it's really down to personal preference.

Regards,

Andrew

I was looking at that one.....It was really between them two....

But I read on one review that with the G502 if you use a palm grip and not a claw, you might find hitting some of the buttons a bit difficult....

I have the Logitech G700 really nice but a bit expensive. I got it on sale at a moment of weakness like all Logitech paraphernalia. (G510, G13)

Wireless, if you run out of juice you just plug it in and you are up and running in milliseconds.

Elite has costed me quite a lot I might say

Best is really to get into a shop and inspect them. Got a G502 here too. And it's quite nice. But the cougar 700Mlooks impressive too.

I'm still using a Logitech G5 that I bought 9 years ago. Still going strong :)

Hmmmm......Just looked at the 700........

That's muddied the water even further......

I Like the look of that......Wireless too.....

Which would be a bonus, as my mouse wire seems to get caught on every little thing that I put on my desk......

I really need to finds a place where I can try these in the hand.....

This is my latest acquisition - a Roccat Nyth

http://www.roccat.org/en-US/Products/Gaming-Mice/Nyth/

An awesome mouse when all set up but I don't actually use it with Elite as I have a Hotas setup that negates the need for the mouse/keyboard.

I was looking at that too....It's not for Elite....I too have a HOTAS set up......This would be for Fallout 4 etc.....

I just think I would accidently be hitting the wrong buttons with that......

Mind you I spose once you get used to it.....

Hmmmmm.....
