Faction-finder, anyone?

How to find a faction when the name of the system isn't in their name?

'Usual resources' are no help

In particular,

CRIMSON STATE INDUSTRY

&

GOLD UNITED SYSTEMS

who, between them, owe me around a quarter-mill in bounty claims.

Anyone who knows/comes across these factions, please let me know.

Also, I kept the title vague enuff so that others in the same boat can also ask about it on this thread - sure I'm not the only one

Crimson is In Cardea is it not

Gold United Systems, I believe, is GD 215.
And I know there are some Crimson State factions around Lugh, but past that I can't help you

I just reached out to Frontier Help on Twitter. The wiki doesn't list these two, and google says no luck. Waiting to hear back, will post more when I hear from them.

I found CSI as the ruling faction in Cardea, with 74% influence, and in Expansion. Guess we might see more of those guys as time goes on

GUS 'only' owe me 42K so I'll pass on that as GD 215 is a long haul for such a piffling amount.

I did say that 'the usual sources' were of no help.

Serious FD should look into giving us a much desired "you have bounties to claim in this system" icon in the gal map.

Plus the option to discard all those stupid little 400 cr claims that ain't ever gonna be worth the effort to cash in.

IIRC all faction names were updated to show system of origin in 1.2 (but it might have been 1.3). These may have been overlooked, so it might be worth putting in a bug report.

You can at least learn what it's like to be ignored by FD.

I remember someone suggested adding an Abandon tab, like there is on the user assigned missions, to a bounty claim which I think is a great idea.
