Poll regarding group policy.

To clarify I voted no to the PvP in combat zones. For me this is a PvE group and we should keep the rules straight and simple. That said if the consensus is we have PvP in warzones then that's fine but I won't take initiate it. I'll supercruise in, pick my side (anyone but Federal ) and avoid human players on the other side. If they fire on me I will defend myself but most likely I will supercruise out as soon as I can.

The poll (for what that's worth - low sample size makes meaningful extrapolations error prone) is fairly clear in all areas apart from the combat zone.

- No to player interdictions
- No to bounty hunting players
- No to accepting missions that require to you hunt players (I personally doubt these will appear, btw, as you can't be certain a player will be online whereas an NPC can simply be spawned)

The only contention then is for combat zones and the margin is not significant enough to draw a conclusion.

Mobius - as not everyone who signs up to your group will visit this site perhaps add a poll to your thread ? You may get a better results that's more in tune with the groups desired goals.

Looking at the results, this is clearly the case and has shifted my view to a more simplistic "it's a PVE group" - therefore my vote "for" PvP in warzones could be disregarded.

I must admit I felt a little hypocritical with my votes as I went with a pacifist PvE viewpoint on all but the first question. I do think a warzone should be just that, personally I would prefer all CMDRs to be on the same team and we kick ass together, but if an opposing faction had a red CMDR, I would personally want to shoot it, if only because I would be a legitimate target to him.

Having said that, I voted that we should have a zero tolerance policy towards negative player interaction.

I do see the hypocrisy of my vote, but would clarify the latter with the exception of the former.

Hi. This is my 2 cent.

I joined a PVE group, not a PVE/PVP group. Yes i know i can play solo, but for me is the sharing and have a group that we can work for the same goal and learn.

Conflict zones are part of the game and i want to enjoy that part too without have to worry about PVP or going solo. Really like to try that kind of event with other group members, as friends not enemies.

That said I think that we can have scheduled events for PVP on determinate days/systems, like the end of beta event on the 21th. For those who like it can know where to go and what to expect. I will attend some but they aren't my main goal.
