Me saying hi, too. So far I had no trouble with other players in open play, but also no friendly contacts. I joined Mobius, hoping to find such friendly contacts and wingmates. So far I spent most of the time bounty hunting, and some trading. Now I'm trying to move into more profitable business ... later perhaps exploration, once I can afford an ASP ...

I'm Ron and I'm old and foul, (well not really foul but I'm well into my 50's, so getting kinda old) I've been online gaming for 20 years and playing elite since launch.

Spent a lot of time in open but the gankers and griefers and Pvp heroes have finally taken a toll so I've just been in solo of late. Getting a tad lonely in solo tho so I thought I would join your illustrious ranks.

Been playing in solo play for what feels like ages because I've been too terrified of open play and the potential for being ganked.
Heard great things about you guys on the E:D Forum and decided to sign up, it gets a bit lonely with just the npcs sometimes.

I mainly do trade/legal combat missions (although I sometimes do the occasional bounty hunting/smuggling/exploration if I get bored) as I'm slowly trying to work up to owning the Imperial Cutter.

I'm a soon-to-turn-42 year old hippie/nerd/nutter from Finland. Man, that number alone bears some significance as I'm on my umpteenth read on the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. Umm.. I tend to roleplay a bit on the Mr. Burns part, haven't really released the hounds yet and I was tempted to yell 'Excellent!' as I released 10 tons of liquor around a certain station yesterday.

As I haven't been a fan of ganking in any form, joining this group was quite given. If anyone needs a hand on pretty much anything (I draw the line on killing civilians), holler. Got a fully pimped Cobra mk3, Asp E (*cough* trading *cough*) and a-specced python (You no take my shinies!).
Orca just might be the next one I'm considering, we'll see if it outperforms the asp e.

Please feel free to add your names to the In game friends list thread, and check out our TeamSpeak servers to easily chat with, and possibly wing up with other commanders.

There is a lot of great info on the message board, and we have compiled a long list of Tips and Tricks to help new players acclimatize to the game while having fun.

Hi Matt here. CMDR CYRUS TEK ingame. Living in London UK and online most nights after work. Just wanted to say glad i found this group!!!
I've been playing for a while now but was a bit disillusioned with Open Mode as any encounters with other players tended to either involve an unsolicited fight or the other player running away before i get to say hi [ i fly my vulture most of the time and it can give the wrong idea ].
Like a few of the posters above i'm open to PvP combat but wanted to be able to engage in a relatively fair way when both parties are up for it.... Being ambushed by 3 Federal assault ships and an anaconda is not fun.
I do a lot of bounty hunting in PvE with my vulture but also enjoy smuggling and a few trips to the surface with the SRV i managed to squeeze into it. I also have an asp exp. fitted for mining/exploring/trading which i move between.
I'll be joining the group tonight and hope to see a few of you ingame and be able to approach to say high without being ready for a fight.

Hi. I come from the UK seeking multiplayer without non-consensual PvP, because I can't stand the latter (nor the people who promote it). I love the PvE group initiative, already had more fun with other players in one evening than I had in a week of open play. Salute to the creators; it's Mobius or nothing from now on.
