If you doubt the baskability of a lone Cutter in the blackness of space then maybe the ship is not for you 8-)

What are you planning on using the Cutter for, Skipp?

I have one for trade runs, and it's a hell of a money maker. :)

Use for a Cutter? Well screenshots ofc! :D

Trading is really not my cup of tea. It's too boring for my taste. I have the money for it and i have my combat specced python so i'll just swap my anaconda for a purrrrrrty cutter :D

Also - i have a smuggling cobra with max cargo and a fully exploration specced Asp. So i have all grounds covered ;)

Ok, so I've tried both systems mentioned.

Cubeo offers a wider range of missions - blowing stuff up, killing sentries and hacking - however, only one empire aligned faction is present so most of the missions will not count towards your rank. Almos 60% were missions that gave no empire rank percentage. Also, the station is medum protected so you need point defence and good shields.

Hip on the other hand has only 2 types of missions - blowing stuff up and killing sentries, but has two factions both of which are empire aligned so EVERY mission you pick up will give a boost to empire ranks.

The station you attack has low security level meaning you need nothing to defend yourself. I'm actually thinking of jumping into my cobra just to speed things up. My Python needs ages to get up and pop the orbit barier.

I shoot a single round of missiles into the middle of the station, i shoot 2 more in an X shaped pattern to kill all sentries. Takes 15 sec to finish a mission.

So - a few hours and 25mil credits later - i got 53% of my rank so i'm 3% into Marquis. 97% to baskness! :D
