Ex Scooterboy here Avago. Quit in 91 when the scene turned all skinheady and the racists moved in. My last Scooter was sold to some Germans who came over from Nuremburg. It was a full innocenti 1970 GP250 AF Rayspeed Special X Type in Purple/Blue metalflake. Converted to TS1 225 stage 5/6. I miss that scoot so badly. It would regularly embarass bikes in its day from the lights. 96mph top whack but only momentarily and with fingers on the clutch. 80 was fine in general.

To be fair, Im a northern souler mainly but love ska and all that stuff. The above also co-incided with my very first microdot and all of a sudden I understood the rave scene. So I moved over to that and went to uni.

I still have a Rally 200 Electronic covered in dust in my garage (it works) that hasnt been ridden since I quit. I needed a motorbike to commute to uni and realised the money I spent making my scoot go faster was pointless. I now ride Ducati's.

I'm still a northern souler. Some things can never be quit.
