Logged in just now and I was in the station, no not like in a dock, but
inside the structure with one small slot to fly threw to get back out into space, the station rotation was beating the crap out of me, lost my shields losing my hull found a spot to stop, got my shield back up, and hilariously got the message to "carry On commander" after a scan.......... I'm trying dam it...

... I did get out with a bit more pounding, hope the station has some gold paint this is not going to buff out.
but I screwed up no screen shots...........

Two words (my apologies if you already know them) ...

I Hit Alt-F10 and capture the last 20 minutes at 720p. I used to do 1080p, but they are just too big. And I capture to NAND, never platter. Platter ensures my next 3 minutes are jumpy if I capture again.
Winging Up ... Is Hard To DoI actually tried to wing up a couple of times with a couple of CMDRs, and couldn't.

One of the CMDRs, in a Vulture, took on a nasty, high ranked Anaconda, and I joined in (unwinged). I hurt those shields, then hull with my Multi-cannons, the most overall -- especially after he used a cell bank, then they went down, then came back up, and he used yet another. But I got no credit. I know the Vulture took a beating, at least the CMDR said so, although I took my share of licks too (although not before the Anaconda's shields were down).
I can't complain too much, because it wasn't long before I got my own ...
Anaconda: Dangerous (to noobs like me)Shortly after, a Dangerous ranked Anaconda engaged me on its own.

But in a change of luck, after I immediately fired off some chaff, he stupidly didn't get into an advantageous position. I quickly got behind him, really started to unload on him and was able to stay behind him with lateral thrusters until his shields were down. It was too late for him at that point, as I got him down to 70% hull before he finally got a good, return bead on me. I had to expend a pair of cell banks and matching heat sinks to keep mine up, because at this point, I started just slugging without any more maneuvering (and stupidly forgot to target his power plant). So I nearly took him completely out before my shields finally came down, thanx to the combo-pair of banks and sinks.
At well over 200K credits, it was my biggest kill ever, and I was promoted to 'Expert' immediately following the engagement. Yes, most of you'all are well beyond me, but I usually don't go on killing sprees (just defensive engagements). I saved the video, so I'll post it after editing in a bit.
I would rack up yet another 700K in kills, adding to my prior 300K in the system earlier, before I had to disengage. A pair of FDLs jumped me, and now out of chaff, banks and sinks after the first FDL kill, I bugged out. My hull only went down to 92%, largely because of that 2nd FDL as I ran away. He didn't pursue me, and I was back at Wilkes CG to cash in and get inside the top 60%.
The Odd-Couple(ings)BTW, I'm now using what I call my
[Config 103M] Sub-class, A-spec Python (related thread), especially since I have a question about those 5A Thrusters and being under the optimal weight.
I'm still a noob compared to most other CMDRs, but slowly increasing my ranks and credits.
The Galactic Sausage? After this latest set of CGs, I'm thinking of heading 1,500ly outward, towards what I'm calling the "Galactic Sausage" after
CMDR Hardy pointed it out to me.

Looking from the opposing end, it looks like it's pointed right at the Sol system. I haven't done a lot of Google'ing or forum searching yet, but I assume most people have been to it? It really stands out, even if you're just looking past the Pleiades Nebula, just to the left and slightly down (if Sol was behind you as you look at the Pleiades).
